BLOCK

Level:     W13, P17, A17, Mk16, B10
Cost:      none

Raises your shield in combat to deflect an incoming melee attack from your
opponent. When a block succeeds, you completely turn aside a single incoming
physical strike from that enemy. Subsequent strikes in the same round are not
blocked.

You must be wearing a shield in your shield slot to block. Warriors must also
be in Defensive Stance, and a successful block opens a brief three-round
window for a Warrior to counter-attack with the Parry skill.

Usage: block [<target>]

Details:
Your Strength, skill proficiency, and level relative to your opponent
determine your chance to block.
