A sorrowful, demoralizing battle harmony that crushes an enemy's fighting
spirit. While maintained in combat, it lowers the target monster's hitroll and
damroll by -4 to -7, and automatically shifts to your next opponent if your
current target falls.

Usage: play 'hopelessness' [<target>]
       stop hpl

Details:
The penalty scales with the bard's Charisma (-4 at 18 or below, -5 at 19-21,
-6 at 22-24, and -7 at 25 Charisma).
